This policy governs the intended use of all reference compounds supplied by BioBalance Research. By purchasing, you agree to the terms below.
Strictly for In-Vitro Research Use
Every compound supplied by BioBalance Research is a laboratory reference material intended solely for in-vitro scientific research and analytical characterization. Products are NOT for human or veterinary consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any form of in-vivo use.
Not a Drug, Food, or Consumer Product
Our reference compounds are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA or any regulatory authority. BioBalance Research makes no medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or health claims of any kind.
Qualified Researchers Only
Products are sold only to purchasers who are at least 21 years of age and who are qualified researchers, or who are affiliated with a legitimate research, academic, or commercial laboratory. You must have the training and facilities to handle laboratory reagents safely.
Handle as a Laboratory Reagent
All materials must be handled, stored, and disposed of as laboratory reagents in accordance with standard laboratory safety practices. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Lyophilized compounds should be stored at -20°C, protected from light and moisture.
Analytical Documentation
Each lot is analytically characterized by HPLC and mass spectrometry and accompanied by a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, available in our COA Library. Purity and identity data are provided for research reference only.
Mandatory Acknowledgment
At checkout, every buyer must affirmatively acknowledge that all products are for research use only and not for human consumption. This acknowledgment is recorded with each order for compliance and audit purposes.
Prohibited Uses
Administering these compounds to humans or animals, or reselling, relabeling, or redistributing them for consumption, is strictly prohibited and may violate applicable law. The buyer assumes full responsibility for lawful use and for compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including import/export controls.
Limitation of Liability
Products are provided 'as is' for research purposes. BioBalance Research shall not be liable for any misuse of its products or for any damages, injury, or loss resulting from use inconsistent with their intended in-vitro research purpose.
